Before installing the network scan driver, make sure:
You are logged in with root user authority.
Your computer has 111MB of free disk space for a complete installation.
You have SANE, SANE back ends, or both installed on your server.
Your computer is properly configured to communicate with a supported network printer over TCP/IP.
Your printer has an internal network adapter and can communicate through an IPv4 network. External network adapters are not supported.

Download the driver package.
Go to www.lexmark.com.
Click Support > Drivers & Downloads.
Search for the appropriate driver package for your operating system, and then download the package.
Double-click the driver package, or do the following:
Open the terminal window.
If using an RPM-based operating system, then do the following:
To install the driver, type
